Mechanism Study - Gimbal Interference

ANSWER THE QUESTION...

It’s late in the design phase and time is tight. Did I miss anything?

In the final stages of the design, a small interference between the gimbal and the robot suspension system was discovered that required an offset of the gimbaling mechanism from the robot. Finding a problem like this during final assembly and testing would have resulted in weeks added onto the final schedule and severe cost overruns.
