ANSWER THE QUESTION...What are the optimum pivot points for my actuator?
Once the four-bar mechanism had been designed, we were now tasked with determining the optimum location for the hydraulic actuator. Using advanced functionality within Mechanica Motion, we were able to optimize the location of the actuator pivots to reduce the maximum actuation forces and provide for smooth accelerations.
